Secure AI Review and Guardrails

Give AI useful access with clear boundaries.

AI tools and agents can read information, use business systems, and take actions. Before expanding their role, understand the access they have and the decisions that should remain under human control.

Start with one workflow

What you receive

  • An inventory of the tools and agents in the agreed workflow
  • A map of the data, systems, and actions they can access
  • Prioritized findings and recommended guardrails
  • An approval matrix for consequential actions
  • An implementation plan and leadership readout

Review access and actions

MEI’s Secure AI review starts with a defined workflow. We examine how the tools use data, identities, permissions, credentials, destinations, and connected systems. We also examine which actions need human approval and what evidence is available when something goes wrong.

Guardrails that fit the workflow

Depending on the findings, the next stage may include tighter permissions, data-handling rules, logging, human approvals, recovery procedures, or network containment. Implementation is defined in a separate scope.

Verify important requests

AI-era resilience also means reviewing how people verify payment requests, account recovery, vendor changes, and urgent instructions. A convincing voice or image should not be the only basis for a consequential business action.

Common questions

A clearer picture before you start.

Is this a policy review or technical work?

The scope can cover policy and technical evidence. Hands-on testing and implementation must be explicitly agreed before they begin.

Can a firewall solve the whole problem?

Network containment can restrict access and destinations. It needs to work with permissions, identity, approval rules, and logging to address the full workflow.

Can you certify that our AI is safe?

The review identifies risks and practical controls in the agreed scope. It does not certify every possible AI behavior or guarantee prevention of unwanted actions.
